About Dr. Michelle Penshorn
Michelle Penshorn, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York in 2010. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Hartford, earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Science in 2005. Dr. Penshorn specializes in dry eye and corneal conditions. She enjoys getting to know each of her patients and enhancing their quality of life through vision correction. The fun and happy experience created by her childhood optometrist inspired Dr. Penshorn to pursue a career in optometry.

I had a great experience with Dr. Penshorn and the rest of the staff! I was seen as soon as I signed the entrance paperwork, and they were all very kind and understanding when I was a bit nervous about some of the eye checks. Dr. Penshorn did a great job of explaining the results of my eye exam and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process.

Dr Penshorn is hands down the best optometrist I’ve ever seen. I was seen right away (a few minutes early!). Dr Pershorn listened attentively to all of my concerns & questions. I never was rushed. Her expertise shined as she provided me a comprehensive understanding of dry eyes. To date, no one had ever given me an explanation that I understood. I highly recommend her.
You will not be disappointed by Dr Penshorn or her excellent office staff. Her staff was friendly & kind too, going above & beyond to figure out my insurance. Book your appointment now!
