About Dr. Micki Flynn

Dr. Micki Flynn obtained her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 2003. She was a salutatorian of her optometry class and received several scholarships for clinical and academic excellence, including the Ira Schwartz Award for outstanding achievement in pediatric optometry. After receiving her optometry degree, Dr. Flynn was chosen for the Pediatric and Binocular Vision Residency Program which provided her with extensive training in treating children’s vision problems such as amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (eye turn), and visually related learning problems. Although Dr. Flynn loves working with children, she provides comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages. Dr. Flynn is board certified by the American Board of Optometry and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She volunteers her time and services as a provider for the InfantSEE Program which enables an infant to have access to a no-cost comprehensive eye exam. She has also been involved in volunteer optometry missions including a 5-day trip to Nicaragua to provide free eye exams and glasses to over 1500 people in underprivileged communities. Dr. Flynn compliments Christenson Vision Care with strong academic and leadership qualities as well as a track record of compassion and caring for patients.

Love Dr. Flynn. She is patient and takes her time to really understand what is going on with her patients. The staff is always kind and helpful.
The eye-care exam service was very good, but one area that needs immediate attention is staff dress/apparel. The intake associate was very inappropriately dressed with painted-on, skin tight leggings. I don't appreciate seeing every detail of her butt, vagina, et al., her attire made me very uncomfortable. Furthermore, society is dealing with epidemic levels of pornography addiction, sexual sin, and immorality, far greater than alcohols, drugs and other addictive behaviors. Professional work spaces permitting seductive verses professional dress-code are contributing as part of the problem instead of part of the solution. There are many organizations to give more insight on this epidemic, here is just one link fightthenewdrug.org, I recommend you visit this site and take appropriate measures to not only enforce a professional dress-code policy, but to also enlighten your staff on the inappropriateness, and the inherent dangers that can result from individual personal appearance. Very friendly and caring staff. Appreciate being able to update personal and medical information electronically instead of paper forms! Would like to be able to do that online ahead of appointment so no need to come to appointment 15 minutes early.

The staff were all kind and helpful. The atmosphere is calm and quiet. Every step is explained and discussed. The one thing that could change is that the woman who did the first screening tests didn't introduce herself. I don't know her name. I am very happy to be back at CVC.

Every phase of patient services was excellent. Scheduling, greeting as you arrive, pre examination protocol, examination and consultation were conducted in a friendly and very professional manner. The entire staff is to be commended on top to bottom organizational skills and service.
