At Optika Eyecare, we believe every patient deserves to be seen as a whole person—not just a number. Dr. Petrauskaite takes the time to provide personalized, comprehensive eye care tailored to each individual’s needs. Her goal is for every patient to leave not only with clearer vision, but also feeling empowered and having learned something new about their eye health.
Dr. Petrauskaite earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry, receiving extensive training in ocular disease, refractive surgery, and specialized contact lenses. Her clinical experience includes rotations at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, Swagel Wootton Eye Institute in Arizona, and Womack Army Medical Center in North Carolina.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys camping with her husband and their golden retriever Baxter, traveling, and playing pickleball with friends.

My experience at Optika eyecare was amazing! I'm not one to take care of myself usually and Dr. P made sure to make me feel comfortable and feel taken care of, she answered all my questions and guided me through the process and explained everything thoroughly, Front office staff was super friendly and nice and welcoming which is amazing! This experience was fantastic and will definitely be coming back every year!

New to the area, selected this provider based on reviews. Post appointment, I followed up with my insurance and found I was charged for services even though I have full coverage with VSP insurance. It was an arduous process to confirm with my insurance that my benefits were not used. When I followed up to discuss my benefits to the provider and ask why I was charged, I received condescending replies, to finally receive a refund in two amounts, many weeks later for the second. I was told I was incorrect and then refunded the amount my insurance stated I was owed. I would go elsewhere.

Everyone was super friendly and communicated everything clearly to me. They guided me through the process of getting my first glasses, making sure I was perfectly happy with the choice I made before making the purchase. They were also super up front and transparent about costs and what my insurance would/wouldn't cover so that the total was not a surprise like it sometimes can be!
