About Dr. Nirali Patel
Dr. Nirali Patel received her Doctorate in Optometry from Salus University in Philadelphia, PA, and graduated with clinical honors. She continued her postgraduate training as a Primary care/Low vision rehabilitation resident at the West Haven VA Medical Center in CT. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
She has gained many years of experience in the management of ocular disease and low vision examinations at various VA locations in New England. Dr. Patel also has an interest in academia and previously held a position as a clinical assistant professor at the New England College of Optometry which allowed her to precept students and residents.
Dr.Patel performs comprehensive eye exams, manages ocular disease, and co-manages patients alongside Ophthalmologists for cataract surgery and refractive surgery.
