Patrick F. Albergo, M.D. is an eye physician and surgeon in Hartford and is the Co-Founder of Connecticut Eye Center, P. C. where he provides general, medical and surgical eye care in greater Hartford. Dr. Albergo received his Medical Degree at the SUNY-Downstate Health Sciences Center and completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at the SUNY-Nassau County Medical Center where he obtained training and clinical experience in eye diseases and surgery including cataract surgery, lens implant surgery, diagnosis, treatment and laser surgery of glaucoma. He is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who has been providing eye care in Connecticut for more than 25 years. Dr. Albergo performs all types of general eye care and Cataract Surgery in Hartford.
In addition Dr. Albergo is an experienced Lens Implant Surgeon in Hartford where he provides advanced technology presbyopia correcting multifocal lens implants such as ReSTOR® and ReZoom™ to patients from throughout Connecticut. He also offers diagnosis and treatment of dry eyes in Hartford as well as Glaucoma Surgery and routine eye exams.

The only issue I had is that I received a confirmation email which told me to go to the West Hartford office, complete with address and suite number. When I arrived I was told there were no doctors at that location and my appointment was in Avon. Luckily I arrived early enough that I was still able to make it for my scheduled appointment time at the correct office. So make sure you confirm your appointment location!

Efficiently organized visit with screening and temp check, professional and attentive assessment by the medical technician followed by Dr. Albergo‘s physical eye exams. The doctor’s exams are always followed by the appropriate teaching and instruction on what I need to know!

Front desk staff seemed a little frazzled as they were learning a new medical record software so they deserve a break. The technician who did my initial exam was lovely and sweet. Dr. Albergo was great, funny and kind and right to the point. I would absolutely reccommend him!
