About Dr. Paul Rabinowitz

Dr. Rabinowitz earned his Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Kings County Hospital Center, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He then pursued a fellowship in Pediatric and Adult Allergy and Immunology at National Jewish Hospital.
Dr. Rabinowitz has published multiple articles, including “Various Therapies in the Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis,” and wrote the chapter on “Treatment of Anaphylaxis” in the Manual of Clinical Problems in Asthma, Allergy and Related Disorders. He has served as principal or sub-investigator on over 70 pharmaceutical research studies and presented research on asthma and allergic rhinitis at meetings of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, and the Association of Military Allergists.
Recognized as one of “Atlanta’s Top Allergists,” he is a featured speaker on allergic rhinitis, asthma, and urticaria, frequently lecturing to Atlanta-area doctors. He has appeared as an expert allergist on CNN, Fox 5 Atlanta, 11 Alive Atlanta, and The Weather Channel.
Originally from New York, Dr. Rabinowitz has lived in Atlanta since 1984, when he joined Allergy and Asthma Consultants. He served in the Army, attaining the rank of Major and was chief of allergy service at Ireland Army Hospital in Ft. Knox, KY. A fitness enthusiast, he stays current with nutrition and life extension trends. He enjoys traveling with his wife and four children. His oldest son is a medical student in Chicago. Dr. Rabinowitz has sponsored his youngest son’s baseball teams and volunteered as a camp doctor at a summer youth camp in Cleveland, GA. He also enjoys music and sports, especially when involving his children.
