Dr. Sarah McCord completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with honors, double majoring in Physics and French. She attended medical school at Emory University and completed a residency in Ophthalmology at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. She developed a profound interest in helping children and ensuring visual health, leading her to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. She has published articles in peer reviewed journals and presented at national conferences. She is Board Certified in Ophthalmology. Her clinical interests include adult and pediatric strabismus, amblyopia, and pediatric cataracts. She employs both adjustable and non-adjustable techniques for individuals requiring strabismus surgery.
