About Dr. Shane Seymour
Dr. Shane Seymour was born in Hawaii and grew up in Southern California. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from University of California, Irvine and his O.D. from Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. While at Optometry school, he was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society (BSK) along with the Omega Delta Fraternity.
His externships include the Southeast Tucson’s Veteran’s Hospital, the Las Vegas Veteran’s Hospital, a private practice in Brea, and the Ketchum Health Eye Care Center. Dr. Seymour enjoys pediatrics, contact lenses, co-management of surgical procedures,and ocular diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. He is passionate about Optometry and strives to provide the best quality eye care to meet the visual needs of all of his patients.
In his free time, Dr. Seymour enjoys playing basketball and soccer, and spending time with his family and pet corgi named Gatsby. His other interests include playing the guitar, catching up on the latest movies/shows, traveling, and finding neat food spots to try.

Dr. Rosenblum was thorough, personable, and truly exceptional. He solved an issue that no other optometrist had been able to figure out. In the past, two different optometrists diagnosed me as farsighted, but their prescriptions never felt right. I ended up with two pairs of glasses that I couldn’t tolerate for more than a few hours. During my appointment with Dr. Rosenblum, I finally learned that my intermittent blurry vision was caused by dry eyes, not a vision problem. With the eye drops he recommended, I’m already feeling so much better.
