Ophthalmologist Dr. Stewart A. Levine, a board certified physician, has been in practice since 1981 and is a specialist in the eye examinations and disorders. Dr. Levine completed his medical training at New York Medical College and his residency and fellowship training at New York University Medical Center. In addition, he holds a bachelors degree from The Cooper Union, as well as a masters degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Both of these degrees are in engineering, giving Dr. Levine a unique advantage and understanding when using new technologies to diagnose and treat eye problems. With this special background and his caring, friendly manner, he constantly strives to achieve the very best results for each and every patient.
Dr. Levine is constantly investigating new developments, and is a pioneering expert in the use of the latest techniques and applications. He is a gifted ophthalmic surgeon, and also has years of experience in non invasive facial cosmetic procedures such as Botox and the Juvederm family of fillers. My experience was terrible. I will probably never go back.
When I entered the office, I saw that there was one person behind the glass at the desk and one person standing in front of her. I was waiting to check in but this person continued to chat with the person sitting at the desk. Finally, after a few minutes of cooling my heels, the person at the desk saw me and told me to have a seat. Finally, the person at the counter walked away and I went over to introduce myself.
Once I filled out all of the paperwork, I sat and waited some more. Then a technician called me to follow her to the back to an office where she asked me some questions. Then I asked her when do I get to see Dr. Levine. She said that he was with another patient and he would be in shortly. Meanwhile, this technician asked me more questions, Still no doctor. At this point, I had had enough and wanted to leave. Then, the technician said that she wanted me to take a test. I said no .

My experience was very friendly. I love that they make patients wash their hands as soon as they enter the office :). I also loved Dr Cohen instead of Dr. Levine and she was absolutely amazing. She took her time an explained my condition and how to treat it. I came in with such nerves and she completely dismissed them with her bed side manner. Highly recommend her! She's sweet, caring, professional and informative :).

Dr. Stewart was very professional and nice. The only thing I did not like, was the receptionist in the front attitude with glasses. She looked like she was bothered by me. The receptionist with the blond hair was awesome and had no problem helping me out with my appointment.

I made this appointment last minute on the same day and I was able to be seen with no problem. The staff was courteous and friendly and my checkout was one of the most thorough exams I’ve ever had! Five stars all the way!

Dr. Levine was extremely thorough and I received a comprehensive exam. I was recently diagnosed with prediabetes, I been having pain in my eyes, they were itchy, dry and burring . I was concerned about my eyes because I haven’t been to eye doctor in long. The process was great, I got to see the doctor in decent waiting time, he was friendly professional and answered all my medical concern and made me feel great. First time I go to a doctor and not be rushed or the doctor is interpreted. Great doctor in queens, clean office and great doctor. Please try him.

Dr Levine was great. My biggest issue was the wait. It took forever to see him. first I waited almost an hour, only to have my initial information taken by One of his staff. I didn't like his overall attitude and I was happy when that part was over. Then I waited for another 20-30 minutes to be seen by Dr Levine's assistant. Then it was another 10-15 minute wait until I saw Dr Levine.
If I could go in and see him directly, I would be extremely happy.
I misplaced my eyeglass prescription and when I called the office I spoke to the same Staff member that saw initially. His attitude over the phone was even worse. So much so that it makes me not want to go back.
