“I was charged for the visit as Medicare only covers every other year. I think this is something the office should tell patients when they schedule appointments. Yes, it is my responsibility, but it never occurred to me that it may not be covered. ”

About Dr. Susan Angelisanti

Philosophy of Care My daily focus is to listen to patients' health concerns and to address each individual's desires and needs. I will always work to help my patients find a solution, whether that means medical treatment, surgery, or referral to a sub-specialist. Patients come to OB/GYN physicians for many different reasons: to ensure a healthy pregnancy, for preventative health care, for contraception, infertility, or with problems such as pain or unwanted bleeding. This variety of care is what makes our profession so interesting and satisfying. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Washington University in St. Louis. I completed an internship in Family Practice and a residency in Family Practice at Lancaster General Hospital, followed by an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Personal Interests I keep busy outside of the office raising three wonderful kids with my husband on our small farm in Kutztown. My garden is my place for reflection and rejuvenation.
