“The process before getting seen is a little weird. I was sent a text saying to reply "here" once I've entered the store and just to browse glasses while I wait and someone would call on me. That never happened. While I was browsing someone asked me if I needed help, and I said I was here for an eye exam and they told me I should be in the back. Once I got back there, the woman at the front desk checked me in and did my eye exam. She wasn't very enthusiastic or warm and very soft-spoken. I did however, love the doctor. She was so nice, put me at ease, explained everything thoroughly and assured me that my eyes were healthy which is exactly what I was hoping for. Would definitely be back again should I need another exam. ”

About Dr. Tamara Maule

Dr. Tamara L. Maule attended Lake Worth High School and graduated from Stetson University in 1985. She received her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in 1989, graduating cum laude. She has been practicing in South Florida since then. Dr. Maule is married to David, her husband of 22 years and they have a son Zachary who attends Palm Beach School for Autism. Because of her experience at home, she has become especially understanding and patient in examining the special needs population. Dr. Maule is an active member of the Palm Beach County Optometric Society as well as the Florida Optometric Association. She has served as a Clinical Examiner for both the National Board of Examiners in Optometry as well as the Florida Board, and was appointed by the Governor of the State of Florida to serve on the State Board of Optometry. Examination and treatment of the Special Needs population InfantSEE Provider Dr. Maule has been married 31 years.mShe has a 21-year-old son with autism.

I really liked the doctor. She was very friendly and help her, but one of her staff members in the beginning was not the friendliest person.

Our first session went great. She is a good communicator and laid some ground work for techniques we will be trying in therapy. I love that she is having me journal and we will be practicing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in the future.
