“This was my second time seeing Dr. Johnson and as long as I live here I will not see anyone else for my eyes. He is extremely kind and caring. I see a lot of doctors and he is one the nicest/warmest I’ve had. The tech was great too. They let me bring my dog to the appointment (I had to) and were so patient and sweet with her.
As someone with chronic health issues I am used to having bad experiences with medical offices. My visit was so positive, efficient, and effective. I’m glad I found this office and recommend CFV and Dr. Johnson to anyone needing eye care. They are a breath of fresh air.”

About Dr. Tanner Johnson
Tanner Johnson, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from Salus University in 2024. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology Pre-Med from Campbell University in 2016.
His passion for optometry stems from his desire to help people in the medical field and his fascination with the intricacies of the human eye. One of his favorite aspects of being an OD is going over fundus photos with patients and witnessing their reactions to the inner workings of their eyes.

Great appointment and they did a good job with the flow from the exam to the glasses / contacts and insurance things. I'd recommend this spot, also it's a nice atmosphere.

Dr. Tanner Johnson and his staff were as nice as they could be! Everyone at Carolina Family Vision was friendly and helpful. Dr. Johnson was quick, but, thorough. He explained everything and answered any questions. Very personable. I live more than an hour away, but, still won’t go anywhere else. Definitely recommend!
