About Dr. Thomas Offerle

Dr. Thomas Offerle is a board-certified allergist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for patients with asthma, allergies, and immunologic conditions. He brings a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes through personalized treatment plans and the latest advancements in allergy and immunology. Dr. Offerle earned his medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina, followed by residency training in pediatrics at Emory University and a fellowship in allergy and immunology at University of Virginia. He is passionate about patient education and empowering individuals to manage chronic conditions effectively. Dr. Offerle provides care for both adults and children, treating asthma, environmental allergies, food allergies, eczema, allergic dermatitis, hives / urticaria, eosinophilic esophagitis, basic primary immunodeficiency, and drug allergies. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Offerle and his wife welcomed their first child in June 2025. He also enjoys staying active and trying new hobbies. He is excited to explore all that Charlotte has to offer—from restaurants to local events.

Dr. Thomas was a great doctor! This was my son’s and my first visit to the office off Mallard Creek, and he took the time to explain everything so clearly. It’s rare nowadays to find such caring and thorough doctors he truly is one of them.
