About Dr. Thuy Tran
Dr. Thuy Tran earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. Her training included an emphasis on the treatment and management of glaucoma, retinal vascular diseases, and anterior segment pathology.
Dr. Tran was honored with the Theia Award of Excellence in Leadership in 2020. She was also named as one of the best optometrists in America by Newsweek Magazine in 2021. Dr. Tran has served as the President of the Optometric Society of New York City and a Metropolitan Trustee of the New York State Optometric Association. She is an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor of the State University of New York, College of Optometry. She has traveled to Haiti, Colombia, and Vietnam on medical mission trips.
Dr. Tran currently practices at French Optical Fashion where she provides thorough eye examinations that address each individual patient's needs. She is clinically proficient in Spanish and fluent in Vietnamese.
