About Dr. Tyler Lesko
Education
Dr. Lesko graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgian Court University, where he was inducted into several academic honor societies including Tribeta, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Sigma Zeta. He then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) in Philadelphia, where he also graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of both Beta Sigma Kappa and the Gold Key Honor Society.
Leadership & Professional Involvement
During his time at PCO, Dr. Lesko held multiple leadership roles across professional and humanitarian organizations. He participated in Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, where he traveled to Panama with the Kiwanis to provide eye care to underserved communities. He also served on the boards of the Lions Club, Gold Key Honor Society, and the New Jersey Student Society of Optometric Physicians, and maintained active membership in the American Optometric Student Association and the Student American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Lesko earned a student fellowship with the SAAO.
Awards & Accolades
Dr. Lesko’s academic excellence and competitive spirit earned him national recognition during his time in optometry school. He was the 2021 National Optometry Student Bowl Champion, outperforming top students from all 23 optometry schools nationwide in a rigorous knowledge-based competition. He and his team also secured 2nd place in the 2022 Essilor Academic Challenge in Boston, showcasing their expertise in clinical decision-making and optometric knowledge.

I am usually very apprehensive about going to the eye doctor, but the overall experience with this group was extremely positive.

I had a great eye exam with Dr. Lesko! He was incredibly thorough, took the time to explain everything, and made sure all my questions were answered. The whole process was smooth from checking in to getting some new glasses. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a knowledgeable and efficient optometrist!

I made the appointment the night before(eye issue). It was easy to book the appointment, easy to check in, quick wait time, doctor understood my issue perfectly, got my follow up appointment, and my eye feels better already. A+
