About Dr. Zachary Marshall
Dr. Zachary Marshall is board-certified in Allergy, Immunology, and Internal Medicine, treating both adults and children. A native Texan, Dr. Marshall graduated from Rice University, the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, and Baylor College of Medicine, where he completed his internal medicine residency and clinical postdoctoral fellowship in allergy and immunology. His fellowship research focused on fungal inflammation of the airway and in vivo models of drug allergy. Dr. Marshall’s clinical interests include rhinitis, asthma, environmental allergies, food and drug allergies, hives, eczema, and immune disorders. Dr. Marshall also has a particular interest in the medical humanities and has written on the importance of the doctor-patient relationship. “In this electronic age of increasingly depersonalized care, we must not forget that health and healing occur only at the level of the individual patient and only with collaboration. Our efforts are best invested in the lives of people, and there is no greater progress than to improve the life of another.”

Dr Marshall listened as I related all the facts concerning my allergy problems. We discussed all options available that will help Dr Marshall determine the root cause. Since it appears that my allergies could be either food or environmentally caused, finding the cause isn’t going to be easy. He made me feel confident that he can help resolve my allergy problems where the doctors I saw in the past did not make the effort to help me. They just ran a blood test that didn’t reveal any allergies. He & I planned what tests we felt appropriate & set up & scheduled. Dr Marshall has extensive knowledge in the field of allergies & I recommend that anyone who is struggling with allergies go see him!

There was so scheduling mixup but it was resolved in less than 3 days. When I got my appointment, Zachary was very informative. He listened to my story about my allergic reaction and figured out what was going on immediately. I left with a plan on how to tackle future reactions and felt much safer with what I learned!
