About Dr. Zhongyue Hu
Dr. Hu grew up in Alberta, Canada and received her Bachelor of Science degree at McGill University, majoring in Anatomy and Cell Biology. She then completed her Doctor of Optometry Degree at State University of New York College of Optometry.
Dr. Hu completed her externship rotations at NYC Health & Hospitals/Gouverneur in Ocular Disease/Primary Care, Compton Eye Associates in Specialty Contact Lenses for Keratoconus and Myopia Control/OrthoKeratology, and Malik Eye Care with a focus in Ocular Disease and surgical co-management. She completed an internship at the University Eye Center at SUNY College of Optometry focusing on Glaucoma, Anterior Segment Cataract and Treatment, Pediatrics, Contact Lens, Low Vision, Vision Therapy and Training, Primary Care, Retina, and Neuro-optometry.
She is passionate about practicing full scope optometry and is dedicated to providing quality care to patients of all ages. Dr. Hu is also fluent in Mandarin. In her free time, she likes spending time with friends and family, traveling, snowboarding and hiking with her dogs Roo and Mylo.
