I specialize in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) where I help new parents navigate the challenging transition from pregnancy to parenthood, and lead a support group for new parents. As a mom of a toddler and newborn myself, it is an honor to help new parents find their footing through validation, compassion, and expertise. I also specialize in drug and alcohol abuse, with 10+ years providing individual and group therapy for people trying to reduce, moderate, or stop their substance use. I was on staff at the Center for Motivation and Change for 7 years, where I specialized in combining substance abuse treatment with skills-based trauma treatments (DBT, TF-CBT, STAIR). In this work, I help people cultivate awareness about their reasons for use, develop coping skills, and make mindful decisions about their relationships to substances. The practice is virtual only. I do not accept insurance but can help patients with out-of-network reimbursement.
