Getting to know Adriana Contreras

Sometimes in life we need guidance to find our way. Perhaps we feel stuck, not living the way we would like, or are unsure of how to proceed. I help people find their way. My goal is to provide a safe space where you can share, gain insight and skills, and move forward. I have practiced as a therapist for over 10 years. Although I have worked with children and adolescents, I have primarily focused on adults facing various mental health and life challenges. I especially enjoy assisting those who struggle with trauma and anxiety. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston, University Park. I hope you will allow me the opportunity to discuss your needs and potentially work with you.

After our first session, we will begin working towards reaching your personal goals for therapy. You will gain insight and skills that you can use in life beyond therapy.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
