Alexae is grounded in the belief that everything is relational and views creativity as a vital tool for resilience. Drawing from human-centered therapy, attachment theory
and psychoanalytic principles she strives to create a space of mutuality and trust where insight and transformation can unfold.
Alexae centers imagination, questioning, and play in her work as an art therapist, using both talk, and art therapy to explore pathways to new connections and self understanding. She holds an MA in Art Therapy from NYU and an MFA from Hunter College with a concentration in painting and clay sculpture.

Alexae is a really thoughtful, smart, and caring therapist who takes the time to actually listen and understand. She asks great qustions and adapts her approach to what you need, not just a one-size-fits-all. Her art therapy background brings a creative touch that makes sessions feel more personal and engaging adding excercises and activities to enhance the therapy experience beyon jus t words/conversation. She has been super helpful and encouraing.

Alexae will meet you where you are and stay there, supporting you, through your journey. Alexae asks questions that no other clinician has asked before. She is patient and curious, allowing you to unfold to her. She is genuine and kind. Really a breath of fresh air.
