“I have been working with Alexis for about three years now, and she has changed my life. She is patient, kind, and honest. Together we have worked on challenging and changing core beliefs, self-talk, handling stress and emotional regulation, working through past traumas, and ongoing support in daily life. Alexis has taught me real tools I can use outside of therapy to deal with anxiety, depression, PTSD, challenging situations, and normal ups and downs. I am so grateful for her. I spent years looking for the right therapist for me, and I finally found her. ”

“Alexis is amazing. She is a wonderful listener and she is so easy to talk to. She really gets to a point where she gets me and knows exactly what I mean when we talk. She is so welcoming and honest. I usually take time to find a therapist and that is always so daunting. However, she was one of the first I tried out and immediately knew I did not need to look any further. She is the best!”

Alexis was very insightful, observant and analytical. In a very short time she provided a concise assessment of my personal concerns and offered advice to assist me in moving forward. I would highly recommend her.

Our family had the pleasure of working with Alexis Marx for several years. Alexis did a great job of getting our 13 year old child to 'open up' and express themselves. During the initial session, our child was virtually silent. After a month of working with Alexis, our child was talkative and working through their problems openly. Additionally, Alexis guided us to additional resources in the area for support. Our family is very grateful to Alexis for the help and guidance she has provided. Thank you, Alexis.
I saw Alexis for about two years for my anxiety disorder and would highly recommend her to anyone. In particular, she helped me to develop coping skills for my panic attacks and intrusive thoughts, though I found it helpful to talk to her about pretty much anything, including my queer identity. If I weren't moving out of state I'd absolutely continue seeing her. She helped my anxiety disorder feel much more manageable and helped me make a lot of progress towards other goals, too. My favorite thing about Alexis is how easy she is to talk to. She is compassionate, calm, and affirming, which allowed me to be myself and talk about things I hadn't ever talked with someone about before. In our sessions, I usually brought a list of things that I wanted to talk about, but on days where I didn't, she asked thought-provoking questions and follow up from previous conversations and we ended up having no trouble filling our session time!
I highly recommend Alexis as a calming and rational voice during a turbulent time. She has helped me so much, she’s always willing to listen and to lend a different perspective. Her relatable sense of humor makes it easier to open up. Whether it’s over tele-health or in person, I look forward to my conversations with her.
Alexis is an attentive therapist who has helped me work through some difficult times during our time together. I leave our sessions feeling clear-headed and accomplished. I highly recommend her services!
My visits with Alexis are great. She continues to provide a supportive environment, and fosters my personal goals. Her approach to therapy is tailored to each individual and it really shows. I can tell in each session she genuinely cares about me as a client. It was clear in my first session with Alexis that she emphasizes creating a safe space for her clients. I highly recommend Alexis to anyone wishing to benefit from therapy.
