I am a trauma-informed mental health professional committed to creating a safe, collaborative, and affirming space for healing. My experience includes working with acute trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, and eating disorders. What should a new client know about working with you?

When working with me, clients can expect a non-judgmental environment where their full experience is welcomed. You set the tone and direction of our work; I am here to support, guide, and walk alongside you. I listen carefully, validate your lived experiences, and offer honest reflections in a warm and caring manner. You can expect transparency, collaboration, and consistent emotional support during each session.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work begins with the intake session, which focuses on building trust and connection. This session allows us to understand your history, the challenges you are facing now, and the goals you hope to achieve. From there, I incorporate regular check-ins during sessions to help track how you’re feeling emotionally and to affirm that your past, present, and future experiences are all welcome in the therapeutic space. I conduct ongoing screenings for anxiety, depression, and suicide risk as part of maintaining your safety and supporting your progress. Treatment planning is collaborative; we identify goals together and adjust them as your needs evolve. My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Client-Centered Therapy, and elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). The combination of these approaches allows us to explore patterns, develop coping skills, and move toward a more grounded and empowered sense of self.
