What should a new client know about working with you?

Seeking therapy is an empowering decision that takes courage and commitment. I want you to know that you are not alone on this journey. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can learn to navigate the challenges life brings. I believe in an integrated approach to therapy because every individual is unique and deserves personalized care. We will work together to explore how you can use your inherent strengths to discover the underlying causes of your difficulties, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and foster positive change in your life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am here to be your advocate and supporter. My goal is to provide you with a comfortable space in which you feel safe to express your thoughts and feelings without any fear of rejection or judgment. Together, we will build a great working relationship so we can explore your unique path to healing. I like to balance deep compassionate work with lighthearted exploration. Your concerns and goals are important to you and are therefore important to me. We will explore your challenges and obstacles and find solutions that align with your values and priorities. My approach is different for each individual, but I pull from many modalities including Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Brief Treatment therapy. We will use talk therapy and mindfulness and may explore the use of journaling, art, music, and meditation. I am honored to help you learn more about yourself and help you reach your therapy goals.
