Working with Almira recently has been so helpful in my personal journal. She is so accommodating and makes me feel so welcome and listened to. At the start of this process I was scared and nervous. That immediately vanished when I met and spoke with Almira.

In later adult life, both my "daughter K" (nowThaughter) and I were having great difficulty communicating without argument or misunderstanding. There was an unwanted tension and estrangement between us. "If it's hysterical, it's historical," so we agreed to go to counseling together. I'm so glad K found Dr. Agosto. She had great instincts and clarity and created a safe environment for us to talk about really hard things. Both of us had gone through heartbreaking life events, and we were able to speak intimately about them without judgment or shame. Through honesty and mutual forgiveness, I now have a terrific relationship with my K. I couldn't have done it without Almira. Thank you, Dr. Agosto!

Dr. Agosto is an incredible therapist that worked with my mother and I. I'm in my 30s and my mother is in her 60s. Dr. Agosto was able to make us both feel very seen. heard, and related to and she was able to help us move past 30+ years of difficult dynamics that we had previously not been able to sort out. My relationship with my mother has literally never been better thanks for Dr. Agosto!!

My two teenaged children have been working with Almira for about a year. They both expressed that they appreciated her willingness to meet their problems head on and not minimize their feeling and frustrations. One of them is non-binary which has created another set of challenges. Almira has handled that very well and is always respectful of their individual preferences. I would highly recommend Almira to anyone needing a listening empathetic ear.

Almira was the light I needed in a very dark time. After losing my Father, I thought I would never recover. I reached out in a last effort to regain even the slightest bit of hope back. Almira is so kind, understanding and professional. Without giving me the “it’s going to take time” speech - which I SO appreciated. I can’t say enough or thank her enough for helping me hang on. Highly recommend Almira!

She is skilled at identifying my personal patterns and helped me identify where they originate from as well as tools to use to reframe and change my negative patterns. She also helped me see my strengths and talents that I was unable to recognize. She has been essential in my mission of healing and self-improvement.

Almira helped me process my trauma and helped me understand how it has affected me. I had tried to work with other therapists before working with her, and none of them gained my trust the way she did. I finally felt safe enough to open up, address the trauma, and start healing. Almira was excellent! She is very approachable and kind, and developed a great rapport with my daughter. She also kept in regular contact with me, which was appreciated. She provided great feedback to my daughter's treatment team. I highly recommend her services.

Therapy is hard work, but when you have a therapist that you can trust is a huge deal. I found Almira really helpful, she is a good communicator, listens attentively, she is open-minded, and I always felt safe talking to her. Almira also helped me to identify my own felling, thoughts and be aware of how my body was responding to these. I thank her for her work because I was able to make some peace that I did not have before therapy.
