I use evidence-based treatments like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to equip your child with tools that will help them long after therapy ends. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from City University of New York, Brooklyn College, and a Bachelor's degree from City University of New York, Hunter College. Prior to coming to Park Slope Therapy, I worked as a child therapist at a private school in Manhattan. Consistency across environments is essential. Therefore, I work with parents and teachers to help kids generalize their new skills across school and home environments. I offer free 20-minute phone consultations for parents.
