Hello, I'm Amy, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I'm looking forward to working with you! I offer teletherapy to clients in Colorado, making it convenient for you to access support from the comfort of your own space. I love working with clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, emotional dysregulation, self-harm, grief, shame, and low self-esteem. My goal is to provide a safe place for you, no matter who you are or what you are going through. I use experiential and creative approaches based on my belief that each client requires an engaging, personalized experience because their life experiences are unique. I specialize in working with adolescents through adulthood and am passionate about coming alongside my clients to help them realize their best life. Have you ever felt controlled by your emotions? Whatever these emotions are, I help you identify, understand, and manage them effectively. We will process complicated, conflicting, and sometimes painful emotions in a safe environment. Through this process, we will come up with coping skills that work for you! I use an eclectic combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Solution Focused Therapy. I firmly believe in tailoring therapy for each individual and meeting you where you are. We are all unique, and your therapy should be unique to you! I specialize in a variety of areas, including anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, children's mental/behavioral health, adolescent & teen mental/behavioral health, depression, family relationships, grief/bereavement, life transitions, military/veteran support, multicultural/diversity issues, PTSD, intimate/romantic relationships, sex/intimacy issues, somatic symptom disorder, spirituality, stress, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, and trauma.
