Getting to know Amy Donahue

I am a Therapist with over 19 years of experience providing mental health services in outpatient and in-home settings. I work with individuals, couples, groups, and families, addressing ADHD, anger management, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), depression, generalized anxiety disorder, opioid use disorder, post-traumatic stress, and relationship challenges. I strive to be a compassionate and human therapist. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and Counseling from Texas A&M University. I use my experience to help guide clients in building a relationship of trust and healing. Together, we explore what is happening in the therapy session to better understand their experiences. I utilize CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy, supportive therapy, and solution-focused therapy. My approach is open-minded and creative, and I have specialized training in trauma-based therapy. I believe in supporting clients to become successful and happy individuals.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
