Hello, I'm Amy. Are you feeling alone, overwhelmed, isolated, stressed out, or ready to give up? If so, you are incredibly brave for taking the first step in your healing process. Life can be unpredictable and bring us to places we may not know how to handle. Even though we go through inevitable difficult times, we can indeed recover, but sometimes we need a little help to move forward. Asking for help can be outside of our comfort zone, and I'm here to support you through your journey of healing and growth. I offer a non-judgmental, safe space to talk about your concerns. Whatever brings you to counseling, rest assured that I will treat you with respect, empathy, and understanding. I am passionate about helping individuals heal and feel empowered. My approach to therapy is collaborative and rooted in openness, trust, honesty, and empowerment. I believe that our work is based on the relationship we build together and should build upon your personal strengths and individuality. I use evidence-based therapy practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Integrative Therapy to achieve the goals set forth by my clients. My therapeutic practice involves working with individual clients ages 18-65, both female and male, from all walks of life who experience challenges with general mental health, grief and loss, trauma, past or present, and relationship issues. I have worked in the behavioral health field for the past 15 years. I graduated from Ottawa University with a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling in 2018 and have been a licensed counselor since July 2018. My goal as a therapist is to provide you with hope for a better tomorrow, facilitate change to improve your quality of life, and foster a healthy relationship with yourself and others. I believe that everyone has the ability to become the best version of themselves, and I am here to guide you through that process. It is an honor to be a part of your healing journey as you work
