Anca Varvara-Piccozzi

Anca Varvara-Piccozzi

Psychotherapist
1811 W North Ave, Ste 402, Chicago, IL
I work with a wide range of individuals who have sought out therapy for concerns related to depression, stress, anxiety, family of origin and first-generation concerns, sexuality, life transitions, grief and loss, and relationship issues. I've worked predominantly with emerging adults and adolescents. I welcome and work with individuals across the lifespan. It is my goal to join you in whatever chapter you are in life so that together we can recognize the strengths you already possess so that you can move through whatever challenges you may face. I invite collaboration and am here to identify your strengths as you move towards your therapy goals. Some approaches I integrate include, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Theory, and Reality Therapy. I believe that the most important aspect to therapy is the therapeutic relationship itself. Each person comes to counseling with a unique set of concerns connected to their relationships, environments, and systems. My aim is to meet you holistically, where you are at using an integrative and intersectional approach to gain insights into your strengths and provide tools to manage life's challenges.
