Hello, I'm Anna, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. Since completing my graduate studies at Newman University in 2012, I've dedicated myself to helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys. My approach to therapy is rooted in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. I believe in the power of collaboration and working together to find the best path forward for you. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or navigating life transitions, I'm here to help you uncover your strengths and build resilience. My professional journey has taken me through various settings, including outpatient services, inpatient facilities, correctional institutions, non-profits, and private practice. This diverse experience has equipped me with a broad perspective and a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health. I specialize in a range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma and PTSD-focused therapy, Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and SO Therapy. I have a particular passion for working with clients facing anger management issues, family relationship challenges, addiction, anxiety, autism spectrum support, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, gender identity concerns, grief and bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, OCD, PTSD, stress, suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors, trauma, medical and physical health issues, military and veteran support, multicultural and diversity issues, and intimate and romantic relationship concerns. Outside of my professional life, I find balance and joy in practicing yoga, meditating, and spending quality time with my dog. These activities help me stay grounded and bring a sense of calm and mindfulness into my work with clients.
