My ideal client is someone who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. You might be navigating difficult life experiences, carrying stress from past or current situations, or trying to make sense of patterns that no longer serve you. At times, you may feel misunderstood, judged, or unsure where to turn—and you’re looking for a space where you can be yourself without fear of criticism. Many of the individuals I work with want to make changes but feel uncertain, conflicted, or unsure where to start. You may be trying to better understand your thoughts, reactions, and patterns, while also wanting to build a life that feels more stable, meaningful, and aligned with who you are. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. I’ve spent my career working alongside individuals in the criminal justice system, supporting people through complex personal and systemic experiences. This has shaped my understanding of how important it is to approach each person with respect, curiosity, and without judgment, while recognizing the impact that life experiences can have on how we cope and respond. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and centered around your needs and pace. I use motivational interviewing to explore your own reasons for change, cognitive behavioral therapy to help increase awareness of thoughts and patterns, and a person-centered approach to ensure you feel heard, valued, and supported throughout the process. Above all, I prioritize creating a space where you feel safe, empowered, and in control of your own growth. Together, we’ll work to build insight, strengthen coping strategies, and support you in creating meaningful, lasting change—on your terms.
