I am Ashley Day, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2005 with a bachelor’s in Psychology. I received my Master’s degree in Social Work in 2009 from the University of Houston. I have spent my 14+ year career working with children and families in crisis, and helping them to navigate through major life transitions and obstacles. My passion is working with women and teen girls on life issues involving pregnancy, post partum depression, anxiety, family conflict and relationships. I have an eclectic therapeutic approach, while also incorporating the client’s social and spiritual needs.
In an collaborative effort with my clients, I guide them in the process of increasing their self-awareness, gaining new perspectives, and increasing their personal strengths to have a more meaningful life experience.
