What should a new client know about working with you?

Having worked in intensive trauma therapy, as well as in private practice, I have gained a wide range of experiences that help me to tailor unique sessions to the needs of my clients. When it comes to therapy, one size does not fit all. I spend time on building a relationship with my clients so that you are comfortable opening up about your experiences. I strongly believe that clients have what they need to heal, sometimes they just need support to get to a space where they trust themselves enough to do so. I am here to empower you to grow and flourish. I do not take clients who are actively suicidal, are in active abusive situations, or are court ordered to attend therapy. If you are seeking help, and you do fall into one of these categories, help is still available.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first few sessions together I am getting to know you and your world. I will ask direct questions to gain an understanding of what it is like for you to walk through the world each day. Once we have built a trusting relationship, we begin to dive into the challenges that you are faced with and work toward self-discovery and positive growth.
