Getting to know Ashley Latona

Hi, I’m Ashley – a therapist with my masters in social work (LMSW). Since 2015, I’ve been dedicated to supporting people on their mental health journeys. I started my career as a direct care worker and later became a Rehabilitation Specialist, which gave me a deep appreciation for the resilience and strength people carry—especially in the face of life’s challenges. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Hood College and completed my master’s at Capella University in 2022. I work with adults, using a client-centered, solution-focused approach that honors your autonomy and builds on your strengths. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel safe, heard, and empowered to grow at your own pace. In our sessions, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices to help you manage stress, navigate emotions, and develop practical tools for lasting change. I also work with parents and children through Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). This is an evidence-based program for caregivers and their children ages 2 to 7 who are having social, behavioral, or emotional challenges. PCIT teaches caregivers effective strategies to improve children’s behavior and strengthen family relationships. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, parenting challenges, or simply seeking improvement in your overall well-being, I’m here to walk beside you with empathy and intention. If you’re considering therapy, I’d be honored to be part of your journey toward healing, clarity, and growth.
