Getting to know Audrey Meacham

My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where we can work together to help you regain balance, build resilience, and move forward with confidence. Using an eclectic mix of evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic therapies, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs—whether you’re navigating daily stress, managing panic attacks, or healing from past wounds. I primarily use Dialectical Behavior Therapy and EMDR as an EMDRIA-approved EMDR therapist. I specialize in post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and depression. What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a laid back, authentic and conversational therapist. I use a mixture of evidence based tools and rapport. This can and will change over time.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Clients can expect that we will begin our first session with an overview of their life as I begin to get to know them. From there the sessions typically are a mixture of the day to day stressors in your life paired with some tools you can learn. After you have learned the basic tools many clients find it helpful to begin to process unresolved wounds and trauma and we begin to work towards new goals.
