“I HIGHLY recommend Austin, working with him has been a truly transformative experience. He is knowledgeable, professional, respectful, understanding, validating, insightful, honest, a great listener, & so much more! I've been meeting regularly with him for several months now & I’m a better person for it. I add reminders to my calendar as "Sunshine Sessions" because every appointment feels like a dose of sunshine in my life. There are moments where I feel like I'm rambling, struggling to get my thoughts/feelings out adequately, & yet he always manages to understand exactly what I'm trying to say. Conversations with him are like lightbulb moments, he truly just gets me & it's so soul refreshing. I feel more confident & resilient through our sessions feeling not only heard, but validated, uplifted, & empowered to tackle whatever challenges I may have. He provides me with the perspective that I need to take the steps toward my goals & to become my best self. Get you an Austin. 1000000/10”

Getting to know Austin Goldstein

Are you navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck? I'm Austin, a Licensed Associate Counselor, and I’m dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, I will work collaboratively with you to help you gain clarity, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change. With a foundation in sports psychology, I work with athletes to enhance mental resilience, manage performance anxiety, recover from injury setbacks, and build a healthier relationship with competition and self-worth. My experience in school settings allows me to deeply understand the social and emotional complexities both adolescents and adults face today - both in and outside of the classroom. I am an Associate Counselor with license number 37AC00857200, practicing under the supervision of Cinthya Swen.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is warm, compassionate, and client-centered—rooted in evidence-based practices while honoring your unique story. I believe that healing and growth happen through authentic connection and self-discovery, and I’m here to walk alongside you on that journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session with me would feel like a conversation. It would be as formal or informal that both the client and content discussed deserve. I utilize different techniques, but mostly CBT focused approach with other modalities involved if necessary. The goal of my sessions is to create an environment in which any content can be discussed without fear of judgment, and with the knowledge that they are in a safe and nurturing environment.

I gained so much from visits with Austin. Austin’s ability to listen and coach was exactly the kind of container I was grateful for, to support me, and especially at such a vulnerable time in my recent lived experience, be able to read between the lines of what I was saying and what I wasn’t. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to connect with Austin and he is such a pleasant person to exchange conversation with. I really appreciated his honesty, kindness, parables & metaphors, and how he always made sure to reiterate that my feelings & emotions were heard and understood. Austin really knows how to pick up on what is needed, intuitively, in each moment, while somehow eloquently melding it into therapy talk. If anything were to be expressed as feedback, it would simply be that I appreciate he was himself and he should continue this journey!
Austin has been invaluable as a therapist. I have been able to work through some issues I have been dealing with my entire life. His methods have worked super well for me. and I very much feel that working with him was helpful to my well-being and had dramatic improvements for my mental health symptoms.
Austin has really provided me with the support I needed and has his own way of keeping me accountable using positive reinforcement
