Welcome, and congratulations on taking the first step to getting the care you deserve. I will work collaboratively with you to help you learn how to manage your overwhelm and anxiety, respect and love yourself, and find a place of refuge where you are accepted for being fully and authentically yourself. My approach My work is holistic and person-centered and I cater my approach to your individual needs. I draw from many modalities including Mindfulness, CBT, Somatic, and Interpersonal. My main focus in on helping you grow into your best self. My focus I specialize in working with individual women aged 20 and older who are struggling with anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, transitions, relationship issues, and grief. I offer ways to help you cope with the difficulties that life can bring. My communication style My communication approach is non-judgmental and supportive. I can be directive when necessary but I prioritize offering you a safe place to work on any issues you may have no matter how difficult. My journey to mental healthcare I have been licensed for almost 25 years and first realized that this was my path when people like the UPS driver or the grocery store clerk started telling me their life stories within minutes of meeting me. I found myself drawn to listening to and being fully present with the people I came across in my day-to-day life. Before I went to graduate school for Psychology, I did several somatic trainings as I have always felt that the mind body, and spirit were all an integral part of the healing process. I continue to do this work because I still love listening to people and it is truly an honor and a gift to witness people growing and evolving and putting their trust in me. My goals for you We will work together to craft your treatment goals. As you progress in your therapy, your goals may change and we will adapt them to fit your evolving needs. I will support you in reaching your goals in order to have the fulfilling life you deserve.
