Hi there, I'm Beth! I work with adults dealing with anxiety, substance use, obsessive tendencies, and relationship stress. Sometimes our thoughts can feel overwhelming, or we get stuck in patterns that are hard to break, whether that's overthinking, relationship conflicts, or habits you’re not proud of. Therapy is a space to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and start feeling more like yourself. My approach My approach is collaborative and supportive, to help you feel more in control of your thoughts, emotions, and choices. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to slow down unhelpful thinking patterns, build a healthier inner dialogue, and practice new ways of coping with stress, relationships, or substance use. For clients struggling with social anxiety or OCD, I also incorporate Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) strategies so you can gradually face what feels overwhelming in a safe and manageable way. My focus I specialize in working with young adults and adults navigating general or social anxiety, substance use, and complex or strained family dynamics. My communication style My goal is to make this a supportive place where you feel comfortable talking about whatever’s been on your mind. I’ll be honest and open with you, and I want you to feel the same without any fear of judgment. We’ll go at a pace that works for you, so you always feel supported and in control of the process. My goals for you By utilizing a harm reduction lens, we can explore goals like cutting back, quitting, or simply understanding your use. I also support individuals dealing with complex family dynamics; no need to bring your family to therapy to heal. Together we’ll build boundaries, reduce overwhelm, and find your voice. I also help individuals who overthink social situations feel more confident, quiet their inner critic, and get more comfortable in their relationships.
