What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide strength-based, culturally sensitive care that’s tailored to each client’s unique needs. My approach often incorporates solution-focused strategies and family systems principles to help individuals build on their strengths, work through challenges, and heal from experiences like trauma, grief, and stress. I strive to create a compassionate and supportive space where you feel encouraged to grow, gain insight, and move toward meaningful change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I have experience working with youth and women in both facility-based settings and through telehealth. My early work focused on substance use counseling, but I’ve recently expanded my practice to include more adolescents, and I find that work deeply rewarding. I’m especially passionate about supporting teens who have experienced trauma, grief, and family separation. I aim to create a supportive, collaborative environment where you feel safe to explore your emotions, set meaningful goals, and build practical coping skills. Depending on your needs, I draw from a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness practices, Multicultural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Breathwork. For younger clients, I may also incorporate Play Therapy techniques to support emotional expression and engagement.
