Psychotherapist
WV
Hello, I’m Brandi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, holding licensure in West Virginia and Maryland. I bring a wide range of clinical experience, having worked in community mental health and public school settings. I graduated from West Virginia University in 2019 earning a Master’s Degree in Social Work, with a focus on behavioral health practices in rural settings. During my educational training, I completed clinical placements in Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), specialized school settings, and an inpatient state psychiatric hospital. I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, life transitions, trauma, mood disorders, school-related issues, and relationship concerns. My therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic, meaning I look at the mind, body, emotions, experiences, and environment of each individual. Using an integrative approach allows me to incorporate techniques that will work for each client’s specific needs, rather than a “one-size-fits-all” method. I take a person-centered, solution focused, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. I draw from mindfulness practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Outside of sessions, you’ll most likely find me enjoying the outdoors and soaking up the sun. I value staying active and connected to nature, and I bring that same authentic, lighthearted energy into my work with clients. I offer flexible scheduling hours to support clients’ busy lives, meeting them where they are in their own journey.
