Brandy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been providing care since 2010. She earned a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College with additional marriage and family training and is credentialed as a Master’s Certified Addiction Professional. She has extensive experience working with all ages and modalities in outpatient, inpatient and residential settings.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Brandy employs a person-centered approach that is both humanistic and goal oriented with emphasis on honesty, respect, and empowerment. Collaborates to explore what isn’t working and encourages desire to make improvements to one’s style of life. She understands that living one’s most authentic life takes courage, is a process of making meaning, and is enhanced by social connectedness.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Beginning treatment focuses on building a working relationship and identification of person-centered goals. For therapeutic value, sessions are suggested to be weekly in the initial and working stages and truncating down to every other week depending on need and client comfort when the desired changes have been made and are being maintained.

Not sure who messed up, but ZocDoc didn’t coordinate my appointment with this office. I’m going elsewhere and now have to wait another 2 weeks.

The lady who was working in the office was quite rude and I had scheduled the wrong kind of appointment which she was sure to point out and laugh while I was clearly unaware. She was not very helpful to my needs. And I find it unprofessional that a woman working a mental health setting would try to make someone feel stupid while clearly seeking help
