What should a new client know about working with you?

When working with me, you can expect a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood. I believe therapy should be both a place to process your experiences and a space to build practical tools that you can use in your daily life. My approach is relational and tailored to your individual needs. I integrate practices such as psychoeducation, CBT, trauma-informed care, and, when appropriate, EMDR. I also pay close attention to your personal experiences, cultural background, and the systems that impact your life. In our work together, we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Some sessions may focus on processing emotions and past experiences, while others may be more skills-based and goal-oriented. My goal is to support you in gaining clarity, building confidence, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with an initial intake session where we explore your current concerns, background, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. This first session is also an opportunity for us to build rapport and ensure that you feel comfortable moving forward. Ongoing sessions are typically 45–60 minutes and are tailored to your needs. We may spend time processing thoughts and emotions, identifying patterns, and developing practical coping strategies you can use in your daily life. Some sessions may be more reflective, while others may be more structured and goal-oriented.
