Getting to know Bruce Jennings

You have taken a courageous step by seeking counseling, and I hope I can help you meet your goals. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Murray State University and my Master’s in Psychology from Western Kentucky University. I have worked as a counselor in Florida since 1983 and have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 1988. I have experience in numerous inpatient and outpatient settings and am comfortable working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. I can help you with anxiety, depression, substance use, anger, ADHD, and other concerns. In addition to counseling, I love spending quiet time in nature—whether in the woods, at the beach, or in the mountains—visiting art museums or galleries, and getting some exercise. I try to focus on these as episodes of escape from the demands of life. I also love live music, but not because it’s quiet.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
