I am a certified Brain Injury Specialist as well as have honed skills for Crisis Intervention, Motivational Interviewing, Substance Abuse Counseling, Group Counseling, and testing and assessments.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My experience in neuro counseling, I developed a strong understanding of mental health conditions related to brain injuries, stroke, or spinal cord injuries. I also employ resilience and empowerment to help clients maintain hope and motivation in the face of long-term recovery challenges. With my clients, I encourage deeper healing and self-awareness, each session is approached through the lens of the client’s unique trauma and experiences. I want to provide tangible, attainable solutions for clients and sometimes that requires utilizing non traditional forms of healing to view one's emotional systems. In my experience, I have provided counseling to couples in person and remotely. Further I have worked with clients that presented issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and stress management.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I developed and implemented treatment plans tailored to clients’ needs, incorporating evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ACT, IFS, SFT and Person-Centered Therapy.
