I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in working with stress, trauma, and life transitions, supporting clients as they process difficult experiences and develop healthier ways of coping and relating. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I integrate evidence-based modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused techniques, to support both insight and practical change. I also explore each client’s personal history to better understand how past experiences may be impacting current challenges, allowing us to address concerns at their root. I believe that healing happens over time and that a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to meaningful progress. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. Together, we work to identify patterns, build on strengths, and develop tools that promote resilience, balance, and emotional well-being. Whether you are seeking support for a specific concern or looking to better understand yourself, I am here to help you move forward at a pace that feels right for you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients should know that working with me is a collaborative and supportive experience. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and free to express yourself without judgment. Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, but we will move at a pace that feels right for you. I take time to get to know you as a whole person, including your current concerns as well as your personal history. Exploring past experiences can help us better understand patterns or challenges you may be facing today, and allows us to address concerns more deeply and effectively. In our work together, I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust and open communication. My approach is flexible and tailored to your needs—some sessions may focus on practical coping strategies, while others may involve deeper reflection and insight. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking clarity, I’m here to support you as you work toward meaningful and lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with a free consultation, where we briefly connect to discuss your needs, answer any questions, and determine if we are a good fit to work together. If we decide to move forward, the next step is an initial intake session. During this session, we take a deeper look at your current concerns, background, and what brings you to therapy. This helps me gain a fuller understanding of your experiences and how I can best support you. From there, our work focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship while getting to know each other more over time. Together, we identify goals that are meaningful to you and create a plan to work toward them at a pace that feels comfortable. As therapy progresses, sessions are tailored to your needs and may include both practical strategies and deeper exploration of patterns and past experiences. We will regularly check in on your progress and adjust our work as needed to ensure you feel supported and are moving in a direction that feels helpful and empowering.
