What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients often describe me as compassionate, direct, supportive, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy works best when we build a genuine partnership. My role is not to tell you what to do but to help you better understand yourself, identify obstacles, and develop practical strategies for change. I balance validation with accountability. While I provide a supportive environment to process emotions and experiences, I also help clients identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck and encourage them to take meaningful steps toward their goals. Sessions are tailored to your unique needs, and we move at a pace that feels comfortable while still promoting growth. I enjoy working with clients who are motivated to better understand themselves, improve relationships, manage anxiety and stress, heal from past experiences, strengthen self-esteem, and create healthier habits and boundaries.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session focuses on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We'll discuss your current concerns, personal history, strengths, goals, and any factors that may be impacting your emotional well-being. Together, we'll identify priorities and develop a plan that feels realistic and meaningful. Ongoing sessions are collaborative and goal-oriented. Depending on your needs, we may explore past experiences, identify patterns in thoughts and behaviors, develop coping skills, improve communication and relationships, process difficult emotions, or work through trauma-related concerns. I often provide practical tools and strategies that clients can use between sessions to reinforce progress. My goal is to help you gain insight, build confidence, and develop sustainable skills that support long-term emotional health and personal growth.
