Chris Seluk, LMHC

Psychotherapist
SC
Hi, I'm Chris! I've been practicing since 2016 and have worked with a variety of clients such as domestic violence survivors, human trafficking survivors, people with anger issues, individuals in difficult relationships, people who are depressed, people who have anxiety, individuals with PTSD, individuals in jails and prisons, and people who just aren't sure where to turn for help. I earned my Associate's degree from Saint Leo University, my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Gulf Coast University, and my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hodges University. I started my private practice in 2022 after working for a national public mental health agency that specializes in serious mental illness.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect to take away goals for therapy and a pathway to reach those goals. Each session will work towards those goals, and after each session, homework will be assigned in the hope that the client will continue to work towards their goals when I am not present.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
