I believe we have internalized beliefs on an unconscious level that drive our core beliefs and values, ultimately shaping how we see and experience the world. **My focus** It is often difficult to find a provider we feel safe opening up to, especially when laying the groundwork for understanding our identity. I am LGBTQIA+, Polyamorous, Kink, and Pagan Allied. I also love working with severe and persistent mental illness. **My communication style** My sessions tend to be casual and conversational, and I like to use humor when appropriate. It should feel safe and comfortable while we untangle your thoughts. I look for patterns to reflect back to you as we search for solutions together. **My journey to mental healthcare** I find great fulfillment in breaking into people's worlds, seeing things from their perspective, and validating those experiences. I live for those "Ah-ha" moments and am honored to share them with you. **My goals for you** Therapy is not usually the first step to solving a problem. Together, we can explore what is keeping you from reaching your goals, what hasn't worked so far, and why. You are the expert on what you need and where you want to go. **My first session with you** We will start with an intake session to get to know each other better. I will ask many questions to understand you and offer an overview of Schema Theory. From there, we can decide if we are a good fit and continue working together.
