What should a new client know about working with you?

I work intensively yet gently with clients. I ask questions to get to the heart of the issues and to understand what are the driving issues in a problem or situation. I am empathic and understanding yet probing. My goal is for greater understanding, and most of my clients see improvement within the first month. I also work long-term with clients for ongoing difficulties and challenges.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session and thereafter we'll explore what brings you to therapy and the goals we can work on together. I will also seek to understand your background, emotions, and life experiences, along with your strengths. I use a variety of modalities, and together we will choose the one(s) that best fit your present situation and to help you on your journey towards greater well-being.
