Getting to know Christopher Pagley

I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and a commitment to your mental health journey. My background includes a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master's in Psychology from Slippery Rock University, which inform my holistic and person-centered approach. Together, we will explore bodily consciousness, emotional processing, belief systems, social supports, cultural upbringing, and past trauma. You can also expect to develop practical tools for managing stress and building resilience. Above all, therapy should leave you feeling empowered, capable, and heard. My goal is to foster a safe environment where you feel free to open up without fear of judgment and have the accountability to progress toward your goals, both within and beyond our sessions.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I teach my clients how to not let negative emotions stick around any longer than necessary. It allows people to create a separation between problems and our identity. As unique as we all are, everyone experiences hardships, but those hardships do not define an individual.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process meaning I will always respect your intuitive wisdom and ask for clarifying questions along the way. Whether you prefer a talk therapy approach or wish to incorporate mindfulness, yoga, parts work/IFS, or a spiritual integration, I will work with you to make this space yours.

Ongoing session: $100-175 for 45 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront
